Bureau Veritas Minerals announces that Andrea McLaren has joined its Vancouver branch to further reinforce and develop the Business Development team for Canada.
Andrea has over 15 years of laboratory experience. Prior to joining BVM, Andrea held a management position at Met-Solve Analytical and Met-Solve Laboratories in Business Development and Client Services. In addition to working with clients in the geochemistry and metallurgical testing industry, she has broad experience in environmental testing services. As Business Development Manager for the Environmental division for BC and YT at AGAT Laboratories, Andrea was in charge of creating brand awareness and developing a client base in the national network.

Bureau Veritas Minerals & Maxxam’ senior management team from around the world attended Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s (PDAC) International Convention, the world’s leading minerals and mining event.
This annual event brings together industry leaders from around the world with more than 24,000 attendees from 125 countries. “There was a strong indication that confidence has returned to the mining industry and we are expecting this to reflect positive growth for BV in the next few years. Having a presence at PDAC helps us to build strong working relationships, not only in Canada but internationally” said Angelo Karitsiotis.
